Kayla comes from Salmon Arm and first moved to Kamloops to join her spouse in late 2016. Before setting on her journey into the world of finance in 2010, Kayla worked evenings and weekends as a waitress. She then moved into personal banking, having worked with SASCU Credit Union in Salmon Arm, Summerland Credit Union in the Okanagan and the local Interior Savings here in Kamloops before joining Abbott.  She has completed two Credit Union specific courses around Products & Services and Fundamentals of Personal Financial Planning, as well she has completed Age Friendly Business Academy’s foundational certification. She is now working on her LLQP (Life License Qualification Program). As much as she enjoys crunching numbers, Kayla loves the great outdoors and has been taking advantage of all the great camping, hiking, fishing, and hunting in the area. She also loves spending her time with her nieces and, every chance she gets, she still visits Salmon Arm to see her parents.
