Rotary International Kamloops West
Mark Bertoli has been actively involved with Rotary International. He is the past President of Kamloops West Rotary and served six years on the Board of Directors. Mark was the first major donor to the Rotary Foundation in Kamloops history. He also has received the District Service Award for his work with the Rotary Foundation. Mark was awarded the Presidential Citation from Rotary International for his work as President.
Million Dollar Round Table Foundation
Abbott Wealth Management is a proud member of the Million Dollar Round Table Foundation Canada, the Canadian philanthropic arm of the Million Dollar Round Table, the premier association of Financial Professionals, that grants at least $1 million per year to worthy charities. Member pledges have resulted in grants approaching $2 million since the Foundation's inception in 1995. Projects supported by the MDRT Foundation Canada reflect the caring and sharing spirit of the profession and industry.
Kamloops Shoebox Project
Abbott Wealth Management is the local organizer of the Kamloops Shoebox Project, an initiative to provide gifts to local women impacted by homelessness. Shoeboxes are filled with essentials like socks, underwear, and hygiene items, plus other pampering goodies like gift cards, soaps, and bath products, a blessing to the women in the Kamloops community for which this might be the only gift they receive during the holidays.
Thompson Rivers University Back the Pack
In 2019, Abbott Wealth Management committed to donating $50,000 to student athletes who are a part of the Thompson Rivers University WolfPack sports teams. The goal is to encourage the community of Kamloops, and beyond, to support WolfPack athletes, with Abbott Wealth Management matching those donations.
